Our lab offers a hands-on, interactive learning experience that allows small business owners to gain practical skills in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance. Sessions are facilitated by LaVonne Shields, The Accounting Strategist with over 20 years supporting hundreds of businesses. She is able to answer questions and provide guidance to attendees..

LaVonne Shields is a passionate Accountant with over 20 years of experience working in several industries (including banking, real estate, construction and non-profit). She is enthusiastic about helping small businesses and entrepreneurs improve their bottom line. She has also served on several local non-profit boards and served as an business advisor for 6 and 7 figure businesses.
LaVonne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and is a registered tax preparer with the State of California. She was also a Business Consultant and Trainer for the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center and the SCORE or 15 years. In addition LaVonne is a Certified NLP Master Practitioner, Trained In DISC and EOS. Her combined experience, training and skills allow her to maneuver in almost any business situation /environment.
